Matchbox Twenty has been pretty quiet lately, but are staging a takeover of all day AXS TV next month for the premiere of his new concert film, Live Matchbox Twenty North, shot during 2013 tour the band in support of their 2012 comeback album No. 1, north.
The band will take account AXS TV Twitter to chat with fans before the movie itself into a live interactive event scheduled for 7:30 pm ET on February 15, opens at 20:00 fans can ask questions with the hashtag # MB20Takeover, and some lucky fans will be chosen to win cool merchandise band. The film itself features live performances of hits like “Unwell”, “3 AM” and many more.
But the takeover of Twitter and concert film are only part of a total of 12 hours of programming dedicated to the band and their friends that day. Things get underway at midday with nothing but Videos: Matchbox Twenty Edition, and then all afternoon and late into the night, you can enjoy exclusive interviews with Matchbox Twenty, and special concerts of John Mayer, Train, The Fray, Life house, Matt Nathanson and more.
On the music front, Matchbox Twenty singer Rob Thomas plans to release a new solo album this year. Earlier this week, said fans can expect a new single in early summer.
